GIORGIO ARMANI: THE CODE TO SUCCESS


It’s been a natural progression for us from modelling to digital entrepreneurial ventures. We’ve had some unbelievable experiences, meeting and learning from some of the best in the industry. So to step out from in front of the camera to jump behind the lens allows us to draw on this and continue to gain amazing insights while learning along the way. When the opportunity came up for us to work with such an incredible brand to produce a short film featuring the new Code Profumo we jumped at the chance!

When we think of Giorgio Armani, we think of modern luxury personified. Having the opportunity to work with a brand of such extraordinary calibre is a great honour. Armani is a level above in everything they do – from the fit (which for us is perfect) to the fabrics, the packaging to the fragrance bottles; the smallest details do not go unnoticed.

Our Stenmark.Life team came together to develop a creative concept that we felt truly represented the Armani Code fragrances and how they were a part of our world. We took inspiration from the design of the fragrance bottle, which has been influenced by a cult Armani fashion piece, the Armani Tuxedo Belt. Additionally, we drew on our idea of the modern man and his code to success.

The film highlights two very successful yet very different men, who despite their life and style differences find there is one final touch that brings their look together. Armani Code, it’s their code to success. We really felt that this story was relevant and easy for us to tell. While we obviously look identical, underneath it all we are very different people. Yet, we find ourselves coming back to that finishing touch that brings it all together – the fragrance.

Featuring the two Code fragrances really allowed us to showcase our different personalities and the way that fragrances really do reflect a part of you. The characters portrayed in the film aren’t based on us but there are definitely hints as to some of our less than obvious differences! Jordan portrays the Code Classic Man – effortlessly, well suited and contemporary. While Zac portrays the Code Profumo Man – modern, mysterious with a casual sophisticated edge.

Armani to us is success, it’s modern, it’s sophistication and it’s luxury. From the moment we met with the Giorgio Armani Fragrance team we felt an incredible synergy between such an iconic brand and Stenmark.Life. With aesthetic and brand values that are perfectly aligned, it really was a dream project.
