When it comes to menswear, it’s the small details that set apart the men from the boys. Often accessories are overlooked but there’s so much you can add to an outfit by considering shoes, sunnies, ties, bags etc. Obviously, functionality is key but there are a lot of great options out there that look great too.

Paying attention to “the extras” of an outfit pays off as accessories add personality to your look. This is particularly helpful in adding uniqueness to your everyday office uniform. Transform an otherwise mundane suit and tie into a sharp, put together ensemble by considering the smaller details. Not only do accessories allow you to add interest to your outfit but they add versatility. With a change of shoes, shirt or tie you can easily rotate the same two suits week in and week out with your work colleagues none the wiser.

When it comes to accessorising casual wear, hats, bags, shoes and sunnies play a major part in dressing up or down staple items. Jeans go from  casual breakfast to a sit down dinner with a change of shoe. Ditch the sunnies, backpack and snapback cap to take you from coffee break to your dinner date.

Attention to the extras makes all the difference and by having a range of classic options in your wardrobe and a mix of accessories, you’ll find you need less and you’ll do more with it.
