We have lived a very active life over the past 23 years however our interest in the nutritional side of health has developed greatly over the last 5. Since we changed our approach, we have seen major benefits in our overall wellbeing. Over the years we have done research into the way nutrition and exercise compliment each other.  We discovered that having a balanced approached to life lead us to a healthier body, mind and overall quality of life.

For us, it’s not just about how we look, it’s about how we feel and we have found that having a balanced approach has lead to many benefits. From better sleep and a more balanced mood to more energy and feeling generally healthier all year around. This approach also allows us to see big benefits in our training such as faster results and quicker recovery times, making training more enjoyable. Training has also been a great stress reliever for us, and a great way to maintain a disciplined schedule.

Growing up we had relatively healthy lifestyle but it wasn’t exactly what you’d call clean eat. When we finished school and began to take control of our nutrition, we found there was so much to learn and took an interest in learning all about it. We found there were huge benefits to a balanced and clean approach to nutrition and exercise.
We have found the best results for us have come from a combination of eating wholefoods consisting of plenty of protein, lots of good carbohydrates, concentrated earlier in the day and limiting refined sugars where possible. We haven’t looked back since.

We understand this lifestyle isn’t for everyone but it’s definitely been a huge positive in our lives and something we are very passionate about. We are always learning and developing our views.
